我的朋友My friends

This unit my students learned the concept of friendship. They found that not only can humans be friends but also animals can. And they learned how to introduce their friends and how to get along with them (e.g. how to share the toys with their friends). I'm so glad to see some of them have matured a lot and been aware of the importance of being polite when making a new friend.

這個單元我班上的學生學習了朋友之間的友誼。他們發現不僅僅人類可以作為朋友，動物也可以是朋友。此外，他們學習了怎樣去介紹自己的朋友以及怎麼跟朋友相處（比如怎麼有禮貌地跟朋友分享玩具）。令我欣慰的是，孩子們在這個單元成長了不少，並且他們意識到認識新朋友的時候必須要有禮貌。

The kids also enjoy writing which quite surprised me. while the Hong Kong kids are learning many characters, the foreign kids are also making a big improvement in writing.

You never know how much potential the young kids have!

Chinese New Year Activities

中國的春節已經過去一段時間了，現在讓我們重溫一下當時這些可愛寶貝們做了什麼吧！
It's been a while since the celebrations for Chinese New Year. Now it's time to review what these little kids did during Chinese New Year!

Don't be too surprised, yes, they made dumplings! Don't worry, they washed their hands.

They also tried many interesting CNY activies and quite enjoyed them!
 

三隻小豬 Three Little Pigs

Every kid likes the story called Three Little Pigs !
The students had so much fun while making the houses and masks  by themselves.
每一個孩子都愛三隻小豬的故事！
這一次他們一起親自動手做了三隻小豬的房子，並且還給自己扮演的面具塗上各種可愛的顏色。

After the preparation, it was time for these little PIGS to perform the story! Enjoy this fantastic show!

Recption CSL

小朋友們學會了怎麼稱呼自己的家庭成員，並且親自動手製作了家庭樹。儘管他們中有些人不是很擅長剪紙，但是他們都喜歡畫自己的家人。這些家庭樹可能看起來不是非常完美，但是它們很好地展現了孩子們眼中的家庭概念。

The students learned how to address family members in Chinese and made their family trees. Although some of them are not good at cutting papers, all of them seemed to enjoy drawing their families. These family trees might not be perfect, but they show the concept of a family in the eyes of these kids.
